Process

AWL Western Wood produces custom, western furniture and decor, here's the secret: sweat, grit and time. A selection of photos is provided to give you an idea of the process which makes your handmade AWL Western Wood furniture unique.

• Identify a promising section of forest, with trees of quality - dead, standing and burned.
• Log, load and haul the trees (2-3 days per log).
• Quality control/Moisture testing
• Wood is milled with band mills on the ranch.
• Wood is sanded, finished, and designed - ends are carved and shaped out(not straight cuts)
• Hand wiped with Danish oils or a varnish.
• Allowed to cure.
• Shipped to customer.
